The high cost of prescription drugs has been a tremendous concern in this country for many years. Some Nevadans are ordering drugs online in an effort to save money – sometimes ordering without knowing where the drugs are coming from. In response to this problem, the Nevada Legislature passed a bill in 2005 to create this website and authorize the licensure of certain Canadian pharmacies by the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy.

The list of all Canadian pharmacies licensed through this process is posted on this website, along with answers to commonly asked questions. While considering whether to purchase prescription drugs from these Canadian pharmacies, consumers should be aware that the federal government has taken the position that the importation of certain drugs from outside of the U.S. may violate federal law.
